Resonance in Technology

When we take a broad survey of research into resonance in technology, we can see that we’re dealing with vibratory frequencies we operate on and experience much, if not all, of our daily lives. We find these same resonances in nature and work these experiences out through experiments, many of which have brought about developments in technology that have further defined our understanding. But has it gotten us closer to understanding how we can control this force of resonance within us and around us to ultimately animate devices and machines?

Watch this free video from the MysTech Conference 2020 where presenter Gareth Dicker, Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and aerial mechatronics and control systems, expertly walk us through the following:

  • Where do we find evidence of resonance around us in nature?
  • How do we recognize resonance within us?
  • Who were the pioneers in resonance research, and in what field did they break ground?
  • How do we understand what Keely brought through his inventions?
  • Where do we go from here with current research done in resonance as a springboard?
  • And much more.
