About This Event
To lead us into the theme of our 2026 MysTech Conference, Dr. Alice Barton will share from her medical and Anthroposophical work The Etheric Heart.
The topic of our 2026 Conference is Becoming Aware of the Etheric, and Dr. Barton’s talk leads us directly into taking up this theme. At the end of her presentation, we will open up for Q&A — both about her talk and about the conference.

About the Speaker
Dr. Alice Barton has been studying the work of Rudolf Steiner for over fifty years, since she was a student of art history at Harvard University. While raising her three children, she translated medical lectures given by Rudolf Steiner, then trained as a physician, practiced medicine, and was a professor of medicine — first at Cornell and then at Brown University.
In retirement she has been teaching art history, embryology, and Biblical studies in Austin, Texas, where she moved to help raise her grandchildren.
