Renewal of Science

Global Conference

August 25 @ 10:00 am 11:30 am

Pacific Time Zone (+8)

About the Presentation

When we tend to focus on creating an impact on the world, it is fashionable nowadays to think solely in terms of technology. But technology is only the final fruit of a scientific process that begins at the root, and has to be transformed if we are really serious about making the impact. The innovators in science are getting harder to come by: How many of us can name a scientist from the last 40 years who has had the kind of impact Faraday or Tesla more than a century ago? There are also an increasing number of issues at the basis of astronomy, electromagnetism, color science, and evolution, all of which need to be addressed to break through the logjam currently affecting science. We will discuss how to create true innovators, and also recognize real innovations, with the help of a Global Conference addressing all branches of science under one theme: Renewal of Science.

About the Presenter

He completed his undergraduate physics training from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (India), and his PhD in physics (Solar Energy) from the University of Houston in 2014. He is currently engaged in postdoctoral research of the Reciprocal System of Physics – a way to inculcate Goethean thought into modern physics – in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In the natural scientific domain, he has been the author of 13 journal publications in experimental and theoretical semiconductor physics, presented his work in multiple international conferences (IEEEPVSC, SPIE etc.), served as a research mentor for a number of students, worked with the Port of Galveston Solar Project and collaborated with MIT, Cal Tech, Imperial College London, University of New South Wales and the University of Tokyo among others in an International Consortium for Solar Energy.
