The New Violin
The Lifetime Work of Franz Thomastik
July 27 @ 3:00 am – 5:00 pm
Eastern Time Zone (-5 GMT)

A musical Instrument is a tool to share sound with others. How do we find the source of music? What does an Instrument need to transfer music into the realm of hearing? These questions have accompanied me since I started this work some 50 years ago. We will explore the essence of musical instruments and Franz Thomastik, Violinmaker, Vienna. (1883 – 1951). His work began an anthroposophical Group of Violinmakers in Austria.
