SUMMARY:Stepping Towards Threefolding\, a panel discussion.
DESCRIPTION:2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Rudolf Steiner. Of the many major initiatives that he brought\, social threefolding was his most prominent focus in the last years of his life. He introduced it formally in his book\, now variously titled Toward Social Renewal or The Core Points of the Social Question\, in early 1919; he also talked with government leaders in Central Europe and worked to influence a significant vote in Upper Silesia. He nearly succeeded at both levels\, and his ideas were lauded in the New York Times. This was during great tumult in Germany after its defeat in WW1. The Bolsheviks had seized power in Russia\, and their socialist ideas were widely popular among disaffected workers in Germany. Steiner rejected all ideology\, characterizing it as a restriction and imposition on what lives in people. Instead\, Steiner sought to create conditions whereby people themselves could act creatively within the economy (through associations of all stakeholders)\, within politics (through more participatory forms of direct democracy)\, and within culture (through the autonomy of teachers\, researchers\, clerics\, and other cultural workers). What was this Threefold Movement? Why did it fail? How does Steiner’s time compare to our time? With AI and robotics entering the workforce\, and with the current polarization of our society\, are the concepts of Threefolding needed even more today? \n\n\n\n\nWatch the Recording\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Panel:\n\n\n\n\n1) Seth Jordan. Seth is a writer and organizer who works with various organizations and groups in the US and abroad. He has worked intensively with Rudolf Steiner’s social insights (often called “social threefolding”) for many years and has written a 12-lesson distance-learning course on that topic called “Transforming Society” (educaredo.org/transforming-society). He writes about contemporary events — seeking to make sense of them from a whole society perspective — at thewholesocial.substack.com. Seth co-founded and directed Think OutWord\, a peer-led training for young adults in social threefolding that ran intensive workshops and conferences for 8 years. Seth has worked with various initiatives including Free Columbia and The Nature Institute. \n\n\n\n\n\n2) Linda Lingane. Linda trained as a Waldorf teacher in the late 1990s primarily to get more understanding of her son’s schooling.  In 2014 during a group meditation\, she heard “threefolding” whispered lightly as a message from the future.  Upon investigating\, she realized that would be the focus of the rest of her life.  She wrote two short intros to threefolding geared to a general audience.  In 2024 she retired from her administrative work at Stanford University in order to focus full-time on threefolding.  She is part of one study group and facilitates meetings of two groups that are devoted to finding ways to implement threefolding. Education: BA\, Wellesley College; MBA\, University of Santa Clara \n\n\n\n\n\n3) T. Michael Cox. Michael is the author of Money for a Threefold Society and a translator. Mike studied business\, mathematics\, and computer science at the University of Saskatchewan\, Canada. He developed software\, taught English in Japan and Germany\, attended Emerson College in the UK\, and managed an anthroposophic book and toy store in the Toronto area. He taught in Waldorf and public high schools for many years. Now retired\, he focuses on social threefolding education and is closely involved in a real-world threefolding initiative happening in Kona\, Hawaii. \n\n\n\n\n\n4) Robert Karp (aka Robert Karbelnikoff). Robert is a writer\, educator and social entrepreneur working out of anthroposophy. Robert is the former executive director of the Biodynamic Association in the US and has been a long-time leader in the organic\, biodynamic and local food movements. His current threefolding initiatives include the Zinniker Farm Stewardship Association\, Threefold Driftless\, and the Anthroposophy and Social Justice Project. You can learn more about Robert and his initiatives on his new blog Metaxy: A Journey Toward Wholeness at www.robertkarp.net \n\n\n\n\n\n5) Gary Lamb. Gary Lamb is the Director of the Hawthorne Valley Center for Social Research located in upstate New York. He has published several books on Waldorf Education and Social Threefolding and served as a Waldorf school administrator and high school teacher. His most recent book\, On the Wings of Words: Conversations and Human Relations – Inner Aspects of the Fundamental Social Law and the Threefold Social Organism\, was published in 2024 by SteinerBooks. Gary cofounded and edited of The Threefold Review\, an independent magazine for the study of social issues in the light of Anthroposophy. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Moderator: Andrew Linnell.Andrew is co-founder of MysTech after a 42-year career in the field of computers. He is president of the Boston branch and a member of the Natural Science Section. \n\n\n\n\n\nGet Instant Access to the Panel Discussion

SUMMARY:The Role of Mani in the Future of Christianity
DESCRIPTION:Although this talk will focus on the future of the individual Mani and his role in human evolution\, we will review who were part of his stream. The Manichaean stream becomes central in the future\, especially in the sixth cultural age\, when humanity must learn to live amid an environment saturated with evil and to redeem this evil through love. Mani has been preparing the human capacity for the conscious transformation of evil as a fulfillment of the Christ impulse. This will be a realization of Johannine Christianity. \n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\n\n\n\nAndrew Linnell is co-founder of MysTech\, an Anthroposophical organization seeking to realize Rudolf Steiner’s indications on Mechanical Occultism. He serves as president of the Boston branch of the Anthroposophical Society and as admin to several Anthroposophical Facebook groups. He is a member of the Natural Science Section of the School for Spiritual Science. In 2013\, he retired from a 42-year career in the computer industry where he had served as CTO or VP for small companies. He is author of nine MysTech study guidebooks\, two children’s books\, and three art history books. \n\n\n\n\n\nClick Here To Register

SUMMARY:The New Pegasus Project: A contribution to modern screen culture
DESCRIPTION:Humans must interact with Light. Today our exposure to sunlight has been greatly reduced as we use electric light and LED screens. We think of color in terms of light waves and photon particles. Color has an intrinsic quality to it\, affecting our soul life. Does digital technology change our relationship to color? Join us on this webinar where together with Nathaniel Williams and his work we can address these topics. Inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s indications\, a team of four light artists led by Nathaniel Williams has been exploring color with artistic instruments for light projection. This Pegasus Project involves the fabrication of a new generation of analogue projection instruments. They hope to originate an interdisciplinary performing art by March 2026. References: https://www.centerforvisualmusic.org/ \n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\n\n\n\nNathaniel Williams is the current leader of the Youth Section at the Goetheanum. He studied visual art and marionette theatre in Basel\, graduating with a certificate in visual art from the neueKUNSTschule in 2002\, and was the co-founder of Free Columbia with Laura Summer. He also received a PhD in Political Theory from the University of Albany. In recent years one of his focuses has been developing screen art projects with young people. \n\n\n\n\n\nWatch the Recording

SUMMARY:En Arche en Ho Logos - In the beginning was the Word!
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence currently has a particularly strong impact on human language. This is a good time to remind us that the words of our languages are not mere haphazard groupings of sounds conveying abstract meanings\, but are living creative forms whose colors\, resonances\, sound combinations\, rhythms and gestures speak experientially of their content. Indeed\, within the spoken word the living breath of creation can be deeply experienced. In this talk we will explore the original origin of language inspired into the human being by the folk spirits\, the Archangels in various stages of development. We will explore the present and future power of the creative word not merely as a means of communication as is now commonly thought\, but as a magic power\, an abracadabra \, a create as you speak gift from Christ\, the representative of humanity. A speech possessing moral healing power and eventually procreation of humanity.” \n\n\n\n\nWatch the Recording\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\n\n\n\nGeoffrey Norris trained in London in both English and German with Maisie Jones and Ulrike Brockman\, graduating in 1979. He has toured worldwide with many Eurythmy Ensembles as a speaker/actor and was co-founder of Ashdown Eurythmy and the Rose Theatre Company. As a founding core member of Portal Productions\, he played Capesius in all four of Rudolf Steiner’s Mystery Dramas\, performing throughout the U.K.\, Europe\, the USA\, and Canada. \n\n\n\nHe has taught speech and drama in many Eurythmy trainings in Britain and Holland and was a speech and drama consultant and voice coach for 18 years at Michael Hall Waldorf School. He has worked with Steiner’s Speech and Drama Course and the Michael Chekhov technique for over 47 years\, and currently teaches\, directs\, acts\, and gives workshops worldwide\, live and online. \n\n\n\nHe has\, for many years until recent times\, been principal speaker and co-director of the Eurythmy West Midlands young stage group\, touring with them extensively. Geoff is the founder of The Speech and Drama Studio\, training students for a Goetheanum-recognized speech and drama diploma\, and is particularly interested and skilled in training Eurythmists\, as well as lecturers and teachers in the art of Steiner Speech. SUMMARY:Looking at Climate Change from a Goethean Perspective: Crisis and Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:The present perspective on climate change is based on the use of computer models\, produced by meteorologists\, physicists\, statisticians\, computer analysts\, etc. It offers us the perspective of the Earth as a closed system. From a Goethean perspective living systems\, and ultimately our planet\, are open systems in constant exchange and  evolution with a larger environment.  \n\n\n\nClimate change is apparent but the cause remains a debate. One book\, The Living Climate: Computer Modelling or Planetary Harmonics\, is an example of those attempting to look at this issue of climate change from a new perspective\, in this case from three complementary perspectives that indicate anthropogenic climate change is due to more than only the rise of CO2 levels in the atmosphere. This does not mean that there are no global concerns. Central to the three perspectives is the mediating role of the water cycle\, whose fulness is threatened at present. This webinar will look at just one of these three: the perspective of world ecology offered us by the work of Viktor Schauberger. Under this lens phenomena show that it is the integrity of the water cycle and\, most of all\, the vibrancy of the etheric sphere that are threatened. A fuller understanding of Gaia’s ecology spells out reasons for great concern\, but also offers us ways forward not based on models\, but on a deeper understanding of the cycle of water and of new ways of generating energy. \n\n\n\nAbout the speaker\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLuigi Morelli’s involvement with natural sciences began with his undergraduate studies in Biology/ Ecology in 1979 and his graduate studies in Environmental Sciences in 1981. He went on to study bio-dynamics and Goethean natural sciences at Emerson College\, UK. From then on he was interested in spiritual science\, primarily in the social field\, in the natural sciences and in free spiritual research as published in various of his books (www.millenniumculmination.net).In the following years he practiced organic and biodynamic farming and gardening both in Camphill settings or in business (ecological landscaping). Lately he has been interested in pursuing a phenomenological understanding of the work of Viktor Schauberger and that of Theodor Landscheidt (astrobiology). Once one understands these\, then one can see the matter of climate change differently. The Living Climate arose as a synthesis of these two approaches and more in response to the climate change paradigm. In parallel to the above he has been working at understanding some aspects of phenomenological science in terms of the personal experience of health through the work of Dr. Edward Bach and Dr Geerd Hamer. He synthesized some of the above and other research in Illness and the Soul. \n\n\n\n\nClick Here To Register

SUMMARY:An Anthroposophical Perspective on Human Evolution
DESCRIPTION:Description: “In the primal beginning\, the Logos was.” Anthroposophy also places the Logos at the beginning of human evolution. Before earthly bodies were prepared\, we humans existed in the spiritual world as spiritual beings. Through the Logos\, all things became. The human is thus related to all earthly things. We will explore this Anthroposophical perspective on evolution\, comparing it to Natural Science and Metallicity. We will then use this basis to look ahead at what we can expect. \n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAndrew Linnell serves as president of the Boston branch of the Anthroposophical Society. He is a member of its Natural Science Section. He is also co-founder of MysTech\, an organization seeking to realize Rudolf Steiner’s indications on Mechanical Occultism.
