SUMMARY:Can Contemporary Technology Help in Keeping the Art of Preparations Alive?
DESCRIPTION:About the Presentation\n\n\n\nIn the last 100 years\, preparations as a part of the wholistic biodynamic approach to agriculture proved to be a life supporting method\, helping to keep a physical and spiritual balance between the living earth through all its manifestation and a human being. However\, with the spreading of biodynamics all over the world and dealing with the lack of some plant’s presence and a shortage of resources\, it is crucial to have a method of copying some preparations using contemporary technological approaches including the usage of light and sound. Two such approaches are discussed in the presentation. \n\n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAbout the Presenter\n\n\n\nIgor Nazarov earned a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics\, an M.S. in Nuclear Physics\, and Ph.D. in Chemicals Physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology\, USSR. He continued to work at the same institution as the Assistant Dean till 1990. In 1983\, Igor Nazarov began his collaboration with Dr. Yury Kronn\, the inventor of Vital Force Technology (VFT)\, and other researchers working in subtle energy. This brought him to the works of Rudolf Steiner and other great minds experimentally exploring light as a manifestation of the spiritual world\, including Wolfgang Goethe\, Wilhelm Reich\, Nikolay Kozyrev\, and others. Recently\, Igor Nazarov worked at a non-profit MIG-Tech Lab to develop a new Multidimensional Imaging Technology (MIG) based on non-linear light-matter interaction. Eurythmy\, a movement artform first developed by Rudolf Steiner\, will be shown to be an important counterbalancing activity\, among others.This conference is created by MysTech\, a non-profit organization based in Seattle\, USA. DESCRIPTION:Daniel Nicol Dunlop – His Paths of Spiritual and Social 3-Folding Initiative \n\n\n\nWhen Dunlop was introduced to Rudolf Steiner in 1922\, he was already a well-known theosophist and occultist in Britain – but also making his mark in the new world of electrical power and engineering. Dunlop is known in anthroposophical circles as the organizer of the “extraordinarily satisfactory” Summer School at Penmaenmawr (1923) and a year later at Torquay (1924). At the Christmas Conference at Dornach in December 1923\, Rudolf Steiner had asked: “Where is Mr. Dunlop? Where is Mr. Dunlop?” We will seek a possible answer to this question in the light of Dunlop’s involvement with the Anthroposophical Society and his World Power Conference initiative. \n\n\n\n2024 is the centenary of the first World Power Conference\, a remarkable feat of global economic co-operation organized by Dunlop. The organization he set up is now known as the World Energy Council\, involving 89 countries and\, including this year’s Rotterdam conference\, with 25 global conferences under its belt. Its mission is “To promote the sustainable supply and use of energy for the greatest benefit of all people”\, a formulation proposed by Dunlop and that has remained unchanged to this day. Daniel Dunlop was quite consciously implementing threefold social ordering! \n\n\n\nDaniel Dunlop was born in Scotland in 1868 in the area where the Irish monks of Celtic Christianity had arrived 1300 years earlier to Christianize the Pictish pagans. He spent much of his childhood on the island of Arran\, where he had his first spiritual visions. His life’s course took him to Ireland\, America and back to England on a double-track of occultism and technology. Human encounters guided his path of achieved idealism. \n\n\n\nThrough his biography\, we will explore the intertwining of his occult\, technological and social paths. After a year of studies in social and economic sciences at Leeds University\, he joined the Camphill Movement at Ringwood\, attracted by the practical implementation of community living there. After completing the training course (seminar) in anthroposophical curative education at Camphill Aberdeen and a period as remedial teacher with children with developmental disorders\, he moved to Switzerland in 1968. He spent the next 25 years there at Perceval\, a Camphill center near Lausanne\, where he was remedial teacher\, house parent\, seminar teacher\, co-director\, and board member\, all the while married with four children. Perceval was deeply involved with local and wider initiatives\, so John was active in founding and growing the Steiner schools at Lausanne and Geneva; the Economic Council of the Middle European Camphill Region; the French banking initiative La Nef; as well as in the Camphill Community and developing curative education and social therapy in wider settings. This led him\, from 1990\, to help develop initiatives in Georgia and Romania. This is unavoidable and throughout his lectures where he discusses the dangers of technology\, Steiner also offered us counterbalances. To balance our exposure to sub-nature\, we must learn to consciously enter the realms of super-nature (the etheric and astral realms) and master these forces as well through the mastery of ourselves. This conference is to help us sort out what is essential to know of our present world of technology and to discern a conscientious path forward in our daily lives.

In the future\, this will be an inborn quality of those born “east of the Rhine as far as Asia”. How do we develop a conscious healing principle already now?\nAbout the Presenter \nMieke Mosmuller studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam and practiced as a doctor for over twenty-five years. Working with illness and death raised questions in her about the nature of life. Since 1994 she has been writing about the spiritualization of intelligence. Her first book\, Seek the Light that Rises in the West\, lays the philosophical foundation for her later novels and books on spirituality such as Posthumanism and Singularity. With the well-known Dutch comic\, cabaret artist and poet Toon Hermans\, she wrote Just God. She has published more than sixty books\, most of which have been translated in German\, some also in English\, Danish and French. About one century ago Rudolf Steiner\, as well as other spiritual scientists\, gave us insights into the spiritual realm. But how do these two connect? Building the bridge is indeed important. However\, not much has been understood\, tried or even achieved up to now. This is so in spite of clear indications and even task descriptions to get on the way. In this webinar we will be walking through this landscape of indications\, trials and tasks in the field of spiritual science and technology. The webinar is intended to be of interest beginners in this field\, as well as to spark enthusiasm for new experimental work in the expert. The English and German sources from which this content is taken are broad and may reveal new facts not known to everyone.						 \n			About the Presenter		 \n							https://mystech.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/The-Goetheanum-Windows-3.jpg Spaan\, born Dutch\, now living in Dornach / CH\, obtained a degree in Astronomy / Physics / Mathematics / Astronomical Instrumentation from the University of Utrecht\, a PhD on Digital Image Compression from the University of Delft\, worked in several academic and industry positions – for example on direct exo-planet imaging and on X-ray space telescope optics\,- and published over 30 articles and books. Once he encountered Anthroposophy\, he also took classes in art-therapy\, music-therapy\, Christology\, Steiner-teaching and biographical counseling; furthermore he worked in the Section for Astronomy in Dornach and initiated the Elisabeth Vreede Institute / NL. Currently important areas of activity are research into Anthroposophical Astronomy and how to create art from Rudolf Steiner’s indications on painting. Languages are English\, German\, Dutch. DESCRIPTION:AI and the Waldorf School		 \n						REGISTER HERE \n							The launch of the chatbot system ChatGPT in November\, 2022 has taken much of the world by storm. Its speed\, clarity\, and writing skills appear to be harbingers of a new stage of artificial intelligence that may transform almost every field of human endeavor. Its disruptive power was recognized within weeks of its release when the New York City public school system blocked its use\, even as myriad academics spoke strongly for or against its pedagogical value. And what about Waldorf schools? It is likely that some enterprising Waldorf high school students are already using ChatGPT to assist them with history essay assignments or mastering concepts in science\, and there are certainly teachers contemplating its possibilities in lesson preparation and composing end-of-year reports. Given the Waldorf schools’ track record with TV\, computers\, and iPhones\, it is likely to be damned in school newsletters and prohibited as a tool for students and teachers.In this lecture Eugene Schwartz contends that whether ChatGPT and its progeny are banned or beloved\, the most important task facing Waldorf educators and parents is to understand the ramifications of artificial intelligence and acknowledge the role that it is already playing in the educational and social life of our students. Eugene will begin with an explanation of how a chatbot works that he promises will be comprehensible to even the most technophobic listener. He will then explore the ways in which our own approach to “intelligence” in the Waldorf movement has been influenced by modern technology\, changing our relationship to knowledge and wisdom. And he will illuminate how the Waldorf approach can empower teachers\, parents\, and students to counterbalance AI’s nebulous counter-image of human cognition.						 \n						REGISTER HERE \n			About the Presenter		 \n							Eugene Schwartz\, a graduate of Columbia University\, was a class teacher and high school teacher at the Green Meadow Waldorf School and Director of Teacher Training at the Sunbridge Institute. A former Fellow of the Carnegie Institute for the Advancement of Teaching\, Eugene has served as a consultant and mentor in schools worldwide and has lectured on education at Harvard\, Columbia University\, Brigham Young University\, University of Tennessee Medical School\, and the Aspen Institute.
