He applied Rudolf Steiner’s “How to Reach Higher Worlds” and trained many individuals in European countries. I took several courses in Stuttgart to immerse myself in this meditation methodology. Then\, Sally and I began to facilitate a weekly online practice group. \n\n\n\nSally Greenberg:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSally\, a mother of three\, lives with her family in Northern California’s Bay Area. She has always felt that her years as a student at the Honolulu Waldorf School was the most significant part of her formal education. DESCRIPTION:All Dates and Times are U.S. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn a lecture given at Dornach on 1st November 1919\, Rudolf Steiner said the following: “To the extent to which people can be roused into conducting their affairs not for material ends alone but also so as to incorporate a free and independent spiritual life alongside economic life\, as an integral part of the social organism — to that same extent Ahriman’s incarnation will be awaited with an attitude worthy of humanity.” \n\n\n\n\nREGISTER NOW!\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMany phenomena now discernible in the world are indicative of the impending incarnation of Ahriman\, and perhaps even the actual incarnation itself. In this talk\, Jeremy will examine some of these phenomena\, not only in the context of Steiner’s lectures on this topic but also by looking at examples of what has developed over the last 100 years. SUMMARY:Stepping Towards Threefolding\, a panel discussion.
DESCRIPTION:2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Rudolf Steiner. Of the many major initiatives that he brought\, social threefolding was his most prominent focus in the last years of his life. He introduced it formally in his book\, now variously titled Toward Social Renewal or The Core Points of the Social Question\, in early 1919; he also talked with government leaders in Central Europe and worked to influence a significant vote in Upper Silesia. He nearly succeeded at both levels\, and his ideas were lauded in the New York Times. This was during great tumult in Germany after its defeat in WW1. The Bolsheviks had seized power in Russia\, and their socialist ideas were widely popular among disaffected workers in Germany. Steiner rejected all ideology\, characterizing it as a restriction and imposition on what lives in people. Instead\, Steiner sought to create conditions whereby people themselves could act creatively within the economy (through associations of all stakeholders)\, within politics (through more participatory forms of direct democracy)\, and within culture (through the autonomy of teachers\, researchers\, clerics\, and other cultural workers). What was this Threefold Movement? Why did it fail? How does Steiner’s time compare to our time? With AI and robotics entering the workforce\, and with the current polarization of our society\, are the concepts of Threefolding needed even more today? \n\n\n\n\nWatch the Recording\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Panel:\n\n\n\n\n1) Seth Jordan. Seth is a writer and organizer who works with various organizations and groups in the US and abroad. He has worked intensively with Rudolf Steiner’s social insights (often called “social threefolding”) for many years and has written a 12-lesson distance-learning course on that topic called “Transforming Society” (educaredo.org/transforming-society). He writes about contemporary events — seeking to make sense of them from a whole society perspective — at thewholesocial.substack.com. Seth co-founded and directed Think OutWord\, a peer-led training for young adults in social threefolding that ran intensive workshops and conferences for 8 years. Seth has worked with various initiatives including Free Columbia and The Nature Institute. \n\n\n\n\n\n2) Linda Lingane. Linda trained as a Waldorf teacher in the late 1990s primarily to get more understanding of her son’s schooling.  In 2014 during a group meditation\, she heard “threefolding” whispered lightly as a message from the future.  Upon investigating\, she realized that would be the focus of the rest of her life.  She wrote two short intros to threefolding geared to a general audience.  In 2024 she retired from her administrative work at Stanford University in order to focus full-time on threefolding.  She is part of one study group and facilitates meetings of two groups that are devoted to finding ways to implement threefolding. Education: BA\, Wellesley College; MBA\, University of Santa Clara \n\n\n\n\n\n3) T. Michael Cox. Michael is the author of Money for a Threefold Society and a translator. Mike studied business\, mathematics\, and computer science at the University of Saskatchewan\, Canada. He developed software\, taught English in Japan and Germany\, attended Emerson College in the UK\, and managed an anthroposophic book and toy store in the Toronto area. He taught in Waldorf and public high schools for many years. Now retired\, he focuses on social threefolding education and is closely involved in a real-world threefolding initiative happening in Kona\, Hawaii. \n\n\n\n\n\n4) Robert Karp (aka Robert Karbelnikoff). Robert is a writer\, educator and social entrepreneur working out of anthroposophy. Robert is the former executive director of the Biodynamic Association in the US and has been a long-time leader in the organic\, biodynamic and local food movements. His current threefolding initiatives include the Zinniker Farm Stewardship Association\, Threefold Driftless\, and the Anthroposophy and Social Justice Project. SUMMARY:Looking at Climate Change from a Goethean Perspective: Crisis and Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:The present perspective on climate change is based on the use of computer models\, produced by meteorologists\, physicists\, statisticians\, computer analysts\, etc. It offers us the perspective of the Earth as a closed system. From a Goethean perspective living systems\, and ultimately our planet\, are open systems in constant exchange and  evolution with a larger environment.  \n\n\n\nClimate change is apparent but the cause remains a debate. One book\, The Living Climate: Computer Modelling or Planetary Harmonics\, is an example of those attempting to look at this issue of climate change from a new perspective\, in this case from three complementary perspectives that indicate anthropogenic climate change is due to more than only the rise of CO2 levels in the atmosphere.This does not mean that there are no global concerns. Central to the three perspectives is the mediating role of the water cycle\, whose fulness is threatened at present. This webinar will look at just one of these three: the perspective of world ecology offered us by the work of Viktor Schauberger. Under this lens phenomena show that it is the integrity of the water cycle and\, most of all\, the vibrancy of the etheric sphere that are threatened. A fuller understanding of Gaia’s ecology spells out reasons for great concern\, but also offers us ways forward not based on models\, but on a deeper understanding of the cycle of water and of new ways of generating energy. \n\n\n\nAbout the speaker\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLuigi Morelli’s involvement with natural sciences began with his undergraduate studies in Biology/ Ecology in 1979 and his graduate studies in Environmental Sciences in 1981. He went on to study bio-dynamics and Goethean natural sciences at Emerson College\, UK. From then on he was interested in spiritual science\, primarily in the social field\, in the natural sciences and in free spiritual research as published in various of his books (www.millenniumculmination.net).In the following years he practiced organic and biodynamic farming and gardening both in Camphill settings or in business (ecological landscaping). Lately he has been interested in pursuing a phenomenological understanding of the work of Viktor Schauberger and that of Theodor Landscheidt (astrobiology). Once one understands these\, then one can see the matter of climate change differently. The Living Climate arose as a synthesis of these two approaches and more in response to the climate change paradigm. In parallel to the above he has been working at understanding some aspects of phenomenological science in terms of the personal experience of health through the work of Dr. Edward Bach and Dr Geerd Hamer.
