I am Karola and I am from Germany. I moved to the USA in my early 20’s. I studied Psychology at SUNY and earned a MSW at VCU. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I worked with diverse cultures, clients with various ages and diagnoses, inpatient and outpatient, public agencies and private practice. I heard about Anthroposophy while visiting my sister in Germany. I began my anthroposophical studies with Daniel Hafner who was the CC Priest in Devon, PA. I joined a group in Alexandria, VA. When I moved to Florida I continued studying alone. During the Pandemic, I took MysTech courses and translated the “First Course Study Guide” into German. I was introduced to a meditation practice developed by Armen Tougu, a CC Priest in Stuttgart. He applied Rudolf Steiner’s “How to Reach Higher Worlds” and trained many individuals in European countries. I took several courses in Stuttgart to immerse myself in this meditation methodology. Then, Sally and I began to facilitate a weekly online practice group.
